Dyson V11 Torque Drive

Dyson V11 Torque Drive Technology

  • Powered by a Dyson Hyperdymium™ Motor: Twice the suction of any cordless vacuum. [Tested at the cleaner head to ASTM F558, dust loaded.]
  • Fade-Free Power: The seven-cell nickel-cobalt-aluminum click-in battery has the fade-free power to clean here, there and everywhere around your home.
  • 14 Cyclones: 14 cyclones generate forces of more than 79,000g to fling microscopic particles – such as pollen and bacteria – into the bin.
  • Whole-Machine Filtration: The fully-sealed filtration system traps 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns – expelling cleaner air.
  • Acoustically Engineered: Designed to absorb vibrations and dampen noise, to keep sound levels down.
  • In-line Configuration: The motor, bin and cyclone are aligned, so air is drawn into the cyclones in a straight line – helping to create powerful Dyson suction.

Dyson V11 Torque Drive Features

Powerful Cleaning on Floors and Carpets

An integrated digital motor spins the brush bar up to 60 times a second. It drives stiff nylon bristles deep into carpet to remove dirt, and carbon fiber filaments capture fine dust on hard floors. Motor spins at up to 125,000rpm to create powerful suction. Dyson’s most intelligent, powerful cordless vacuum. Twice the suction of any cordless vacuum. Quickly and easily transforms to a handheld for cleaning on the stairs, in the car and on the sofa. Low profile cleaner heads and slim design make it easy to clean low and awkward spaces. Acoustic baffles built into the motor divert direct sound and improve airflow making the Dyson V11 Torque Drive quiet to use.

High Torque Cleaner Head

Automatically adapts suction and power to deep clean different floor types without changing cleaner heads. With the main Torque Drive cleaner head, the vacuum weighs less than seven pounds and is approximately four feet long. It comes with five additional cleaning attachments: three tools [mini motorized, combination, and crevice] and two brushes [mini soft dusting and stubborn dirt] that you can switch out for the Torque Drive head. The big deal about this high torque cleaner head is that it can detect differences in floor surface and automatically change the suction power when appropriate, saving overall run time.

Real Time Intelligent Reporting

LCD screen at the top of the handle, lets you switch between different cleaning modes, informs you of remaining run time, detects blockages and shows you how to clear them, and sends reminders to clean the filter. It also shows current performance, including selected power mode, remaining run time, filter maintenance reminders and blockage reports.

Multiple Cleaning Modes

Three cleaning modes optimized for a variety of tasks. The right balance of power and run time, where you need it. Suction power is controlled across three settings – Eco mode, auto mode and boost mode – to clean throughout the home. On Auto mode, the Dyson V11 adapts to and deep cleans a variety of floor types with a balanced amount of suction power. Eco mode is made for lighter, longer cleans, while Boost mode provides up to five minutes of super-powerful, intensive cleaning.

Displays Run Time

Lets you know how much battery power is left in each mode, to give you more control of your cleaning mission. Intelligently optimizes suction and run time across all floor types. The right balance of power and run time.

Maintenance Alerts

Reminds you to clean filters for optimum performance, and informs you of any blockages and how to clear them.

Dyson DLS System

The Dynamic Load Sensor (DLS) system automatically changes the motor speed between carpets and hard floors for powerful cleaning across different floor types.

Convenient Docking

Convenient docking station stores and charges the machine, and holds additional attachments. So it’s always ready to go.

Integrated Power Management

Dyson’s battery technology and battery-saving trigger help to provide our longest run time by only using power when you need it. Up to 60 minutes of run time. Engineered for larger homes with pets. Actual run time will vary based on power mode, floor type and/or attachments used.

Hygienic Bin Emptying

The ‘point and shoot’ mechanism hygienically ejects dust and debris deep into your bin, in one action – so there’s no need to touch the dirt. 14 cyclones generate forces of more than 79. 000g to fling microscopic particles into the bin. After you’re done vacuuming, you can push down on the bin’s red lever to open the bin and empty its contents directly into your trash can without touching any of it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the battery take to fully charge?

A full charge takes up to 4.5 hours.

Can I leave my vacuum on charge?

The battery is designed to be left on charge permanently, and this will ensure that the vacuum is fully charged when it’s next used. Once the battery is fully charged, your machine won’t use any more electricity.

Should I fully charge my vacuum after every use?

We recommend fully charging your machine after every clean. This helps your vacuum’s battery and monitoring system’s algorithm to more accurately calculate and display remaining run time.

Does the screen use up the battery?

The LCD screen only uses up to 1.5 watts of power, which won’t noticeably impact run time.

Does this machine connect to the Dyson Link app?

Your machine works independently and doesn’t connect to the Dyson Link app.

How often should I clean the filter?

The screen on your machine will remind you when it’s time to clean the filter. This will usually be around once a month, but may be more frequent if you use your machine heavily.

Why isn’t my Dyson V11™ vacuum adapting to different floors?

Your machine will only adapt to different floors when the High Torque cleaner head is attached and it’s in Auto mode. Other tools and modes are designed for specific tasks.

What’s the difference between Auto mode and Med mode?

Both modes provide the optimal balance of power and run time. Auto mode only works with the High Torque cleaner head to automatically adapt between different floor types. Med mode is displayed instead of Auto mode when all other tools are attached.

How do I change the screen’s language?

Press and hold the selection button beneath the screen for between 5 and 10 seconds to view the language list. Then press the selection button to scroll through the list. When you reach your preferred language, press and hold the button for between 2 and 4 seconds. If you’ve selected the wrong language, press and hold the button when the cross is displayed to return to the language list. Or to confirm the language, press the button to scroll to the tick and then press and hold.

What’s the switch on the cleaner head for?

You can use the switch on the High Torque cleaner head to further adjust the suction. Slide it towards the ‘+’ for maximum suction for ground-in dirt and large debris on durable floor coverings. And towards the ‘-‘ for light dirt on deep pile carpets and delicate floor coverings, such as vinyl and linoleum. Leave it in the middle for dust and debris on carpets, rugs and hard floors.

Dyson V11 Torque Drive is easy to maneuver thanks to its light weight and pivoting head, and its digital motor, which is 20% more powerful than the Dyson Cyclone V10.

The V11 Torque Drive is expensive, but if budget is not an issue for you then it will be worth it!
